StoryLine:
The film is the screen adaptation of Chef Vikas Khanna’s novel The Last Color, which follows the friendship between a young tight-rope walker and a widow named Noor in Vrindavan. The duo yearns to play with colours on the occasion of Holi, but Noor and the other widows are held back by tradition.The Last Color 2019 – Review :The Last Color is a simple story of how a friendships blossoms between 2 people from extremely different strata of society. The binding force behind the entire story is one promise made by the 9-year old girl to the 60 year old widow. Throughout the film, the director has very subtly touched upon many social issues that exist in today’s India and need to be spoken about. The main protagonists played by Neena Gupta and young Aqsa Siddhiqui have delivered their best performances. Overall it is a brilliant film in all aspects. Kudos to the debutant chef turned Director for this heartwarming film that moves something within you.
